Unfortunately it comes with no extras, not even a trailer, which is a great pity. If only they had gotten Terence to do a commentary. Nonetheless this is a must see quality film. EXCLUSION is an interesting new film on the way which features Terence Stamp. Directed by Deepa Mahta, an Indian-born film-maker working in Canada. It tells the real-life 1914 event of when the Japanese stean liner, the Komagata Maru (also the working title of the film) carrying 377 passengers, all British subjects from Punjab (India) who were stopped from disembarking at Vancouvers harbour (Canada) because of the exclusion laws prevalent at the time, which initially targetted the Chinese, founded on the fear of a brown invasion into the country. The ship was anchored up for 2 months whilst the passengers fought their case using a British lawyer (played by Terence Stamp). The case was lost, and hence they returned to India. On arrival when disembarking, the British opened fire, killing 90 people and wounding 120 (another source states 20 were killed and 9 were injured). It was then largely forgotten as World War One started and the incident got swept under the carpet.
